End of June 2022 I quit my job, my apartment in Zurich and started my project „a one year off“. My journey started in Spain, Asturias with an intense Spanish course.

Wild Life Borneo!

The island is home to numerous rare and endemic species, including the Bornean orangutan, pygmy elephant, and proboscis monkey. The rainforests of Borneo are some of the oldest and most diverse in the world, covering more than 70% of the island’s land area. These forests provide a vital habitat for a plethora of plant and animal species, as well as playing a crucial role in regulating the global climate.

Diving!

The Similan Islands are a group of nine islands located in the Andaman Sea, off the coast of Thailand. The islands are known for their pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. The Similan Islands have become a popular destination for scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, who come to explore the colorful coral reefs and spot a variety of tropical fish and other sea creatures. The islands are also home to a diverse range of wildlife, including sea turtles, monitor lizards, and a variety of bird species.

Learning Spanish!

In my second month in Oviedo I was finally able to order a café para llevar. I am now a proud holder of a B1 Spanish certificate.
